Color formation in lacertidae

MARTEN VAN DEN BERG, MICHAEL KRONIGER & MIKE ZAWADZKI, March 2016

English version:

Summary:
Presentation held at the annual meeting of the DGHT-AG Lacertiden in Gersfeld/Rhön (Germany), from the 11th till the 13th of March 2016. A hypothesis concerning color formation on a cellular level for lacertid lizards, based on recent research on other lizards, is shown.
